BOREHAM Wood followed up their dramatic National League Cup final victory against West Ham U21s on Tuesday night with a comprehensive victory against relegation-threatened Gateshead in a match that they dominated.
Fresh from becoming the first Non-League club to win the trophy in midweek, Luke Garrard’s men ensured their was no hangover in the league as the promotion chasers eased to victory thanks to goals from Leon Ayinde and Zak Brunt – just 20 seconds into the second half – either side of a Fenton John own goal.
