ATHERTON and Kidsgrove ■ shared the spoils in the afternoon sun at the Dreams-2Reality stadium.
Kidsgrove took the lead through a penalty dispatched by the in-form Nat Stewart, conceded following a coming together on the edge of the box.
The second half began with the Colls on the front foot, upping the tempo as they searched for an equaliser.
It came within two minutes as Ben Rydel unselfishly teed up Dom Richmond, who drove through the defence and smashed the ball into the roof of the net.
