MO STARS IN NARROW WIN FOR SHAKERS

BURY took all three points against Bootle in a narrow affair at Gigg Lane.
Bury’s first real chance came after 26 minutes – Kai Evans forced an incredible save from Bootle keeper Tony Thompson.
It was Evans who eventually gave the Shakers the lead just before the interval, with a rocket from outside the box.
Bury added a second eight minutes after the break – Mo Touray turned in the box and fired home, sending Thompson the wrong way.
Bootle pegged it back four minutes later, half-time substitute Ben Hodkinson chipped Mitch Allen from close range.
