A dominant performance from Lichfield City saw them take all three points against Basford United.
The opening goal came after 15 minutes, and it was certainly a contender for goal of the season.
Callum Griffin did well to keep the ball alive on the edge of the area before feeding Kieran Francis, who found the net with a superb overhead kick.
The second came in first-half stoppage time when Jude Taylor’s persistence set up Griffin who placed the ball past Matthew Yates in the Basford goal.
