The home side’s forward line had their chances early on, with Dawid Regula volleying just over the bar then firing wide off a fine ball from Harvey Pritchard.
Matt Wonnacott in the Brixham goal stopped efforts from both Milo Murgatroyd and Freddie King, but the die was cast for the Larks when a weak clearance off a free-kick was turned in by Harford on the stroke of half-time.
