PORTISHEAD strengthened their play-off position with a strong defensive performance away to an improved Westbury.
Town scored their opener after eight minutes as Owen Humphries’ delivery from the left was partially cleared to Mitchell Osmond who curled in a beautiful strike.
Westbury grew into the game, but Osmond came close to doubling his side’s lead when his free-kick hit the side-netting and at the other end United’s Ben Starr set up Bevan Cross whose effort went wide.
