■LEVERSTOCK GREEN moved closer to safety with another crucial three points with victory yesterday afternoon.
Jack Shakespeare was denied twice early on for Flackwell, but Nat Connolly connected with a Stefanoaica cross in the 18th minute to put Leverstock ahead.
They should have been further ahead by half-time, but Iker Noguera Leon missed two one-on-one chances in quick succession.
Flackwell were on top for much of the second half, but an outstanding save from the overworked Broome-Alexander denied Shakespeare again.
