‘NON-LEAGUE heavyweight’ Terry Spillane has relinquished control of Soul Tower Hamlets for a short spell due to a “commitment beyond his control”.
During the temporary absence of Spillane – who previously managed Stansted, Redbridge and Walthamstow – the side will continue to run as normal, with the current coaching team leading day-to-day preparations and matchday management.
Club chairman Tarik Khan said: “The squad is fully focused and gearing up for a massive run towards the end of the season.
