FANS’ favourite Adam Barton has stepped up in a bid to steer Curzon Ashton to safety in National League North following the departure of Mark Bradshaw.
Barton, 35, has made over 200 appearances for the Nash since joining from Farsley Celtic in 2021.
Now he has been given the chance to cut his teeth in management with the club eight points clear of the relegation zone with seven games to play before yesterday.
