In the title race, York City take on relegation-threatened Gateshead, whilst Rochdale face play-off hopefuls Scunthorpe United, both sides away from home.

FC Halifax Town face a major test in their play-off push tonight as they take on promotion-chasing Carlisle United in the standout clash of the midweek action.

Gateshead vs York City

Kick off at 7.45pm GMT on Tuesday, March 24th 2026 (Live on DAZN)

Two sides fighting for polarising reasons in the National League face-off on Tuesday night as relegation-threatened Gateshead host title-chasing York.

The Heed’s stellar run of five games unbeaten was ended by Boreham Wood on Saturday afternoon, with three first-half goals sinking Rob Elliot’s men.

However, with bottom side Truro City the only bottom-eight side to pick up points on the weekend, Gateshead remain in the drop zone by only goal difference.

York continued their fine goalscoring form by dismantling lowly Brackley Town 4-0 on the weekend, with Josh Stones’ brace guiding them to an 11th win in 12 games.

The Minstermen were on course to be heading to the top of the table only for Rochdale to come from behind to secure a crucial 3-2 win over Tamworth.

FC Halifax Town vs Carlisle United

Kick off at 7.45pm GMT on Tuesday, March 24th 2026 (Live on DAZN)

Two sides who could meet again in the National League play-offs collide on Tuesday night as Halifax Town welcome Carlisle.

The Shaymen leapfrogged Southend United into a top-seven position on Saturday afternoon following their 3-0 demolition of Solihull Moors.

However, given that the Shrimpers have two games in hand on Adam Lakeland’s men, they must maintain their run of three straight wins.

Carlisle secured an emphatic 6-2 victory over mid-table Boston United on the weekend as they aim to avoid a play-off eliminator at the end of April.

Mark Hughes’ side occupy third position, but with Boreham Wood just four points behind, there is little margin for error.

Southend United vs Woking

Kick off at 7.45pm GMT on Wednesday, March 25th 2026 (Live on DAZN)

Promotion hopefuls Southend will be desperate to return to winning ways when they host mid-table Woking in the National League.

The Shrimpers sit one point outside the play-off places and know that a win could take them back above Halifax, who face a tricky test against Carlisle.

Kevin Maher’s side suffered a damaging 1-0 defeat to Altrincham on Saturday afternoon, but still have two games in hand on the Shaymen.

However, their opponents, Woking, are one of the form teams in the division, and they will have to work hard to reap all three points on home soil.

The Cards held on to defeat Aldershot Town 3-2 in a National League thriller on the weekend, and they are now unbeaten in their last six.

Scunthorpe United vs Rochdale

Kick off at 7.45pm GMT on Wednesday, March 25th 2026 (Live on DAZN)

Scunthorpe and Rochdale collide in a monumental clash that will have significant implications on the National League promotion race.

Callum Roberts’ stoppage-time penalty secured the Iron a 3-2 victory over relegation-threatened Braintree Town on Saturday afternoon as they maintained pace with the teams above them.

Andy Butler’s side are nailed on for a place in the top seven and have an outside chance of catching third-place Carlisle, which would mean avoiding a play-off eliminator.

Rochdale left it late to defeat Tamworth and preserve their status as National League leaders, with 41-year-old Ian Henderson bagging the winner in a 3-2 thriller.

That victory means that Jimmy McNulty’s men are two points ahead of York with just seven matches remaining of the season.
