THE 1,440-plus crowd who took advantage of Farnham Town’s free entry offer on Non-League Day went home happy as Farnham edged out their local rivals.
In typical derby-day fashion, it was a closely fought affair, with the Curfews going closest after 14 minutes when Alfie Wellens’ attempted chipped effort was kept out by the outstretched hand of Michael Eacott, the first of his several key saves.
