YATE Town moved out of the bottom four with this deserved win against a Hanwell side who have been in good form recently.
Full-back Elijah Oladunjoy’s long throws for the visitors were an early threat and each side had chances. Rex Mannings shot straight at Hanwell goalkeeper Sam Beasant and Henry Snee tested Aaron Sainsbury in the home goal.
Yate went ahead in the 34th minute when Mannings outmuscled Jack Matton and his pass to Marlon Jackson set up the Town’s leading goalscorer to finish coolly in the bottom corner.
