■rNEWCASTLE Town eturned to winning ways with a convincing victory over Shifnal Town to pull themselves away from the relegation area.
Castle dominated the early stages with Cameron Dourish and Tim Grice going close. The hosts took the
lead after 25 minutes when Cameron Dourish fired home from 20 yards. Then, just five minutes later, Tim Grice raced clear to double the lead.
Young Stoke loanee Lucas Knight saved well from Shifnal’s Kevin Monteiro to keep the score at 2-0.
