HUNGERFORD TOWN’s frustrating defeat to Havant & Waterlooville saw them drop deeper into the drop-zone.
Inside 30 seconds, Josh Marcon came agonisingly close to giving Hungerford the perfect start. He fired just wide, in what ultimately proved to be his side’s best moment of the first half.
From there, neither side managed to build any real momentum but Havant worked hard and struck a decisive blow, five minutes before the interval.
