Collieries, dealing a blow to the hosts’ play-off ambitions.
A cagey first half offered few chances, with neither side able to take control. However, in six minutes of added time, Ponte struck as Joe Lumsden latched onto a through ball, rounded the keeper and finished well.
The visitors responded quickly after the break. Kane Hutchinson-Wilkes levelled with a header before Charlie Carlisle fired Lincoln ahead just a minute later.
