LEIGHTON stayed firmly on track for the title with victory over Hertford, inspired by Luke Pyman.
The victory moves the Reds 11 points clear at the summit, while Hertford face a tough task to keep their play-off hopes alive.
It was goalless at half-time, though the hosts controlled possession and both sides created openings in a competitive first half.
The breakthrough arrived in the 57th minute when Leo Farruch delivered a superb free-kick, met powerfully by captain Pyman to head home.
