Five-star Red Rebels overpower tame Lions

FC UNITED of Manchester gained a vital win as they kept their chase for the NPL Premier title in their own hands with a thumping success at Guiseley.
The Red Rebels took the lead within five minutes. A ball over the top fell to Jordan Buckley, who took a touch and sprinted into the area before calmly placing the ball past the onrushing Guiseley keeper Joe Cracknell.
The Lions equalised just minutes later when a free-kick found the head of Lebrun Mbeka, who flicked the ball on and into the back of the net.
