■ RUNCORN Linnets secured their place in the play-offs with victory at Kidsgrove Athletic.
They took the lead after 18 minutes when Kidsgrove failed to clear a long ball properly and it fell to Scott Bakkor who scored past the returning Aaron Woolrich.
Kidsgrove were level after 27 minutes through Travis Capey,
the midfielder slotting past Yusuf Mersin.
After the break, Runcorn stepped up a gear and two goals from Harry McGee won this game for the visitors.
