■ HEATON Stannington made light of being down to their last ten available outfield players by pushing Ossett United deeper into relegation trouble with a hard-earned win on home soils.
With injuries, suspensions and unavailability wrecking Dean Nicholson’s squad, the depleted Stan produced a hardworking display that reaped maximum rewards as they ended a run of three consecutive defeats.
