■ a hat-trick as Long Eaton took the points from this six-goal mid-table thriller.
He struck a tenth-minute opener only for the visitors to hit back with a quick-fire double from Manni Norkett – all within the opening quarter of an hour. The Mickleover man bagged the first from the penalty spot and then dispossessed the keeper for the second.
The scores were level just before the break when Garnett doubled his tally from the spot with the striker completing his hat-trick midway through the second period.
