CLEVEDON Town’s hopes of winning the Western League Premier Division have been dashed after they were deducted six points for a “technical administration issue” when registering a loan player this season.
The Seasiders say they are “saddened” and in “disbelief” at the decision which came after they claim the FA had quashed an original Western League sanction to penalise them.
The decision sees Clevedon knocked off the top of the Western League Premier division table with two games left to play.
