REAL Bedford secured a play-off place, as they fended off Alvechurch with a well-earned win.
The Pirates knew what needed to be done to keep themselves on track for a possible promotion push.
Following some speculative early exchanges, Bedford opened the scoring in the 36th minute, Josh Allen ensured a Connor Tee effort went in after he met a great cross that came into a dangerous area. That was goal No.26 for the season.
