IT WAS an excellent win for Stotfold against already relegated Rayners Lane.
The visitors went in front in the 23rd minute when a Haroon Merial pass picked out Jake Bunyan who finished well.
Five minutes later, Romero Smart-Tull played in Powfil Raposo, but he was denied by Lane goalkeeper Matt Burrows.
Just before the break Daniel Kemp had a shot cleared off the line for the visitors.
Edwin Daffern added an excellent second goal for Stotfold with a lovely chip over Burrows in the 59th.
