Southern League is brutal

I TOTALLY agree with George Spencer (Fans’ Forum, March 22), that the Southern League Division One South is not the place for his team Winchester City.
The same can be said for the team I have an interest in, Didcot Town, just as far east and further north than his team. Didcot are nearing the end of their second season in this division which has included round trips to Mousehole (542 miles), Falmouth (502 miles) as well as several trips to Devon.
This is totally unreasonable on small club resources and who knows how much diesel will cost next year! Even to Brixham and Bidefor...
