HEDNESFORD had to settle for runners-up spot following a dramatic draw against Ashton United.
The Pitmen started in dominant fashion at a sold-out Keys Park. In the second minute, Omari Sterling-James cut the ball back towards Jake Jervis who forced a wonderful double save from Jordan Eastham.
Hednesford went ahead on ten minutes. A back-pass from Darius Osei only found Montel Gibson who struck a fierce shot from the edge of the area past Eastham.
