PRESCOT Cables rounded off the season with a solid victory against Bamber Bridge, but it wasn’t enough to preserve their Premier Division status.
Prescot needed to win and hope results elsewhere went their way to stay in the top-flight - and they certainly gave it their best to fulfil their side of the equation.
The game began as an end to end contest.
