BURGESS Hill ended an historic return to Step 3 in typically entertaining fashion as six first-half goals provided plenty of action in their finale against Cray Wanderers in Mid Sussex.
The visitors took the lead as Ola Ogunwamide burst through the defence too easily and slipped the ball past Michael Dike after only eight minutes.
Hill were behind for less than 60 seconds as the visitors let George Vorster cut onto his left and he fired one into the near post for his 16th of the season.
