THE hosts had the opening chance of the game, a sight not seen too often this season, when a long throw from Ben Blakely was headed goalwards by Elliot Parrott, but Mickleover keeper Jack McDowell did well to tip away from danger.
Just before half-time, Bedworth took the lead. Matthew Shipman did brilliantly to get past his man and cut back to Teddy Rowe who side footed powerfully home.
Samson Hewett smashed home a penalty to put his side two ahead, but Mickleover responded quickly and got one back through Manni Norkett.
