■ SECOND-HALF goals from James Taylor and Jahvan Davidson-Miller saw Long Eaton’s late-season flourish continue on the last day.
United twice went close through Evan Garnett’s effort over the bar and a close-range prod during a tame first half.
Basford’s best opening saw Carter Mabson lift an effort that was comfortably grasped by Lewis King shortly before Long Eaton went ahead, James Taylor nudging past exposed keeper Matt Yates before slotting home in the 56th minute.
