DAVE Altendorff has stepped down as manager of Hastings United after avoiding relegation on the final day of the season. Altendorff, the former Lancing and Whitehawk boss, took over at Pilot Field in October 2025 after a slow start and steered the U’s to Step 4 safety in Isthmian South East by five points.
