FC ROMANIA have folded after 20 years as a football club.
It comes after ground tenants Cheshunt decided not to extend the Eastern Counties Division One South side’s groundsharing agreement at Theobalds Lane.
In a statement, the one-time Step 4 club confirmed: “The club is forced to cease its Non-League football operations due to the lack of a stable sporting base for next season. “For the past 14 years, FC Romania has operated through a groundshare agreement with Cheshunt FC.
