AS WINCHESTER City’s reporter for The NLP for 11 years – and someone with an association with Clanfield (Oxon) FC that began over 50 years ago – I was pleased with how both clubs fared in the Non-League allocations for the 2026/27 season.
Although Winchester’s seven trips to Devon and Cornwall produced more than half of their away league points last season, there was a lot of expensive travelling in that division and so therefore I was pleased when they were moved to the Isthmian League South Central Division.
