ALTY ADDS TO ROOKS RANKS

FORMER Whitehawk and Hastings United boss David Altendorff has joined Lewes as joint assistant manager.
Lewes-born Altendorff previously captained the Rooks’ U18s team and brings a wealth of knowledge to Craig Nelson’s Isthmian Premier set-up having also managed the likes of Lancing, Newhaven and Loxwood.
Altendorff, who resigned as boss of Hastings a fortnight ago, said: “This is a proud moment for me and my family. Lewes is my home town and a club that is very close to my heart.”
