BERKHAMSTED have led the hundreds of tributes for club legend Max Farrelly, who passed away this week.
Farrelly made 256 appearances for the Comrades, scoring 26 times, and was a regular visitor. He also turned out for a number of other local teams including Leighton Town and Chesham United.
Tributes have been received far and wide with current Berko manager Chris Devane describing him as an “unbelievable guy”, while former teammate Alfie Osborne told how Farrelly took him under his wing, highlighting his gentlemanly character on and off the pitch.
