MATT GRAY made a winning start to life as Eastleigh manager as the Spitfires opened their Enterprise National League campaign with victory at home to Gateshead.
Goals either side of half-time from Harry Sidwell and Josh Lundstram were enough to secure all three points for the hosts, with Ashley Boatswain’s late strike proving to be little more than a consolation for Lee Cattermole’s visitors.
