HARVEY SETS CURZON ON THEIR WAY IN OPENER

CURZON Ashton earned a hard-fought three points with a 1-0 win on the opening day.
The home side had the first chance of the game. Alex Curren played the ball through to Tony Weston, who shimmied past his man but dragged his effort narrowly wide.
Soon after, Curren had a chance of his own with a low, driven effort from the edge of the area. James Wright did brilliantly to get down to his right and tip the ball wide.
