A DEBUT double from Luke Yates saw Rushall Olympic return to life in the Southern Premier Central in perfect fashion with a gutsy victory over Hitchin.
A goal at both the start and end of the first half put Rushall two-up before Kyle Tearle pulled one back for the visitors from the spot.
Inside five minutes, a great ball in from left-back Carter Lycett found a leaping Yates who beat his man to the ball and to head past the keeper.
Then in the dying seconds of the first half, the debutant came out on the right side of a scramb...
