1874 NORTHWICH eased into the hat, with a comfortable victory over Rossington Main, thanks to a Kevin Spinelli debut double.
A defensive mix-up in the Rosso defence was punished as Spinelli slid home, midway through the first half, to mark his arrival from Chasetown on the eve of the season.
Brad Grayson came close to levelling things up for Rossington, but saw his effort well saved by young Altrincham loanee goalkeeper Max Beddow.
Two minutes into the second half, though, Spinelli doubled his and 74’s tally, selling his marker...
