A STOPPAGE-TIME equaliser rescued a point for Buxton in a fiercely contested game at Haig Avenue.
The opener came after just 17 minutes when Malakai Mckenzie had the ball out wide and his cross looped straight over the keeper and into the net.
The Sandgrounders had a brilliantly made chance to double the lead when Sol Solomon and Danny Lloyd combined down the channel but when the cross come in Mckenzie’s effort was saved.
