BOOTLE had to come from 2-1 down to win against Newcastle Town in a thrilling game.
Ben Hodkinson took the lead after five minutes when he slotted the ball past Newcastle goalkeeper Joe Slinn.
We then had three goals in three minutes as Newcastle drew level after 29 minutes through Drew Lowe before the visitors took the lead thanks to another goal from Lowe after 30 minutes.
Just as Newcastle were enjoying a lead, Bootle pulled level via Jack Lenehan with a close-range effort.
