MOORS’ POLLOCK IS CATCH OF DAY

THREE first-half goals from Scott Pollock, as well as a second half whipped effort from Josh Ashby was the difference as Oxford City thumped Spennymoor Town.
Moors midfielder Jack Young forced a good block out of a defender, but it was the visitors who took the lead. Pollock picked the ball up on the counter and fired into the bottom right corner past Zac Hadi.
Jack Jenkins brought Spennymoor level with a powerful header at the back post, before Oxford retook the lead six minutes later, as Pollock added to his tally with a neat finish....
