JAMES Butterworth struck late on to earn Bamber Bridge a scrappy win at home to Alfreton Town.
The hosts nearly opened the scoring with an audacious effort from Emerich Poilly. After kicking the ball over the head of an Alfreton defender, Poilly volleyed the ball towards goal, though his effort zipped past the post.
