ATHERTON Collieries were frustrated following this home draw with 1874 Northwich.
The first half was an uninspired affair. The Collieries maintained the ball for the majority of the half but lacked the quick-fire play required to break down a rigid defence.
Against the run of play, 1874 took the lead through Ben Cray, who broke quickly down the right flank and powered past Jack Dallimore on his return.
