MATTY’S CITY DAYS ARE OVER

MATTY Lovatt has stepped down as manager of Lichfield City after a difficult start to the club’s NPL West campaign. Lovatt stepped down just hours after a first league win of the season – 1-0at fellow strugglers Congleton – had lifted City off the foot of the table after nine games.
Lovatt joined Lichfield in the summer after sev-en years in charge of Dudley Town.
