Step 3

Things aren’t like they used to be

ONCE a year, although it is a reasonable distance away and I do not drive, I make a visit to one of my favourite Non-League grounds. Both the food and programme are excellent value.
On a recent visit, to my dismay, they had ceased to print a programme, there were no team sheets and the announcer, when giving out the teams as they entered the field, gave the impression that it was an inconvenience.
The food outlet was no longer in use and had been replaced by a mobile unit.
I shall not be visiting again.
