SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 27TH

I AM on the North Norfolk Coast as Storm Arwen rips through the country. I head for Cley-next-the-Sea, near Sheringham. The scene is awesome: I have never seen the sea boiling and raging as it is this morning.
My choice of game is Sprowston, about half an hour away. Jane SatNav takes me around Norwich in torrential rain to the stadium. It is deserted!
I finally establish that Thorpe St. Andrew are at home. The village is only two miles away from where I am sitting in an empty car park! Jane SatNav springs into action again ...
