The 24-year-old England C keeper doesn’t fit the archetypal big stopper so often seen in football.
While he might not be over 6ft, Butler is more of a moder n day sweeper-keeper, who is comfortable with the ball at his feet, works hard on his distribution and focuses on organising the defence in front of him.
