ASH GROW WITH WADE

FORMER Blyth Spartans boss Tom Wade has become joint manager with Steve Harmison at Ebac Northern League outfit Ashington.
Following a disappointing season in which the Woodhorn Lane club finished seventh from bottom of Division One, Ashington chiefs hope to emulate the success of the top two sides, South Shields and Morpeth Town, who both have joint managers.
Harmison, who has been in the hot season on his own for two-and-a-half seasons, said: “I just see it being very good and positive and for the club to get Tom on board is a massive coup.”
