Stapleford Town have returned home to initiate their £8 million new facilities this season – in collaboration with former England star Steven Gerrard.

It is a mutually advantageous situation for both parties.
Apart from staging United Counties League Division One games, the revamped Hickings Lane Recreation Ground also hosts a freshly launched Midlands regional base for the Steven Gerrard Academy.
This embraces football training and education for students aged 16-plus.
