Maidenhead United’s bid to avoid relegation was handed a major boost after late goals from Sam Barratt and Shawn McCoulsky helped them to a crucial victory over out-of-form National League play-off chasers FC Halifax Town.
It’s now back-to-back wins for Alan Devonshire’s Magpies, although they remain five points adrift of safety.
Halifax, though, have hit the buffers.
